Welcome!

Here are resources to get you started researching PreK-12th grade education, including education in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools. Depending on your topic, you may also find the Guides in History, Psychology, and Sociology to be helpful. The College of Wooster Libraries have a dedicated Education Resource Collection (ERC) on Andrews Library's third floor, especially for early childhood through high school teachers and their students.

Browsing in Education

Education materials are generally found under Library of Congress call numbers L-LT.

Education Reference Books are on the first floor of Gault library.

Circulating Education books are on the third floor of Andrews Library.

Education magazines/journals are found in both the Education Resource Collection (ERC) on Andrews Library 3rd floor (applied teaching and review titles), or in the periodicals section on Andrews Library Lower 2 (research and theoretical publications).

Children's/Juvenile Literature (preK-high school) and teacher idea books are in the Education Resource Collectionon Andrews Library, 3rd floor.
