Who is eligible?

To be eligible to win the 2016 Prize, applicants must:

  • be a current College of Wooster undergraduate student who will complete their senior Independent Study during the 2015-2016 academic year.
  • agree to present at the Melissa Schultz Research Prize panel during the Senior Research Symposium on April 29, 2016.

 

What are the prizes?

* First Place: $500

* Second Place: $300

* Honorable Mention: $200

 

When is the deadline?

The deadline for application submission and receipt of your faculty recommendation(s) is 5:00PM on April 1, 2016.

 

Where do I submit my application?

Application materials should be submitted online using the student application form.  Additionally, students are responsible for obtaining a recommendation from their I.S. faculty advisor using the faculty recommendation form.  A second faculty recommendation is optional. 

 

What formats are eligible?

Projects in all formats, from any major, are eligible, provided they contribute to our understanding of sustainability and/or the environment.
