Do You Know a Hidden Science Superstar?
The Timken Science Library is making a commitment to celebrate the rich diversity of scientists that aren't currently represented in the design of the building. In spring 2018, we will dedicate 4 new displays throughout the building, each honoring a scientist, engineer, technologist, or inventor from a historically underrepresented group -- and we are inviting the College of Wooster community to make nominations and vote on the finalists!
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, October 6th. Your nominee should be someone from a historically underrepresented group who made a major contribution to their scientific field, played a key part in an important invention or discovery, or had a significant public role in the advancement of science and technology.

What Happens Next?
The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 6th. On October 16th, a group of 8 to 10 finalists will be added to this website. Until November 21st, you will be able to read short biographies of the finalists and vote for up to 4 who you would like to see honored with a display in the science library.
