CONSORT

Search the CONSORT CATALOG for items held by CONSORT Libraries. Consort is a shared catalog for the following schools: The College of Wooster, Denison University, Kenyon College, and Ohio Wesleyan University. You can request books held in other CONSORT libraries directly through the CONSORT system. These items take an average or 2-4 working days to be delivered to our library. You will receive a message on your @wooster.edu account to let you know when items have arrived. They will be placed on hold for you at the Gault Reserves Desk.

OhioLINK

Search the OhioLINK CATALOG for items held by OhioLINK Libraries. You can request books held in other OhioLINK libraries directly through the OhioLINK system. These items take an average or 2-4 working days to be delivered to our library. You will receive a message on your @wooster.edu account to let you know when items have arrived. They will be placed on hold for you at the Gault Reserves Desk.

EXAMPLE--BOOK RESOURCE

There are many book resources available in WOO MAIN that will be useful for researching topics in this course.  One title that you may want to look at is The Musical: A Look at the American Musical Theatre.  If WOO's copy is checked out, you can check out a copy from CONSORT or OHIOLINK.

You can go to the shelf to find the book under the CALL NUMBER WOO MAIN  ML1711.K57 1980 and other books on the same topic will be shelved in the same area.  

Also, whenever you find a book on your topic, you may want to look at assigned subject headings  If you look at The Musical: A Look at the American Musical Theatre  you will see the subject heading MUSICALS--UNITED STATES--HISTORY AND CRITICISM.  You may want to click on the subject heading  to see what books are available in Wooster or other CONSORT libraries.  Remember, you can move your search to OHIOLINK to view titles available for request from schools outside of CONSORT libraries.

There are also many e-book resources available.  One title that you may want to look at is American Musical Theatre: A Chronicle.
