This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)

Federal Depository Library Program

The Federal Depository Library Program, a service of the U.S. Government Publishing Office, "provides for the establishment . . . of depository libraries and the distribution of government documents to those libraries for use by the public" (Federal Depository Library Manual).

By participating in this program, the Government Information Department of the College of Wooster Libraries agrees to house, catalog, and maintain these documents and provide free public access to this government information.
