NARROW YOUR TOPIC
Key Words
•Use AND between key words to narrow your topics
Example: Searching just COSTUME will bring up all entries that contain COSTUME
Searching COSTUME and THEATRE will bring up only those entries on COSTUME that deal with THEATRE.
If you search COSTUME and THEATRE and GREEK the results will bring up only those entries that deal with all three variables--COSTUME, THEATRE, and GREEK.
•Also, you can use * to allow for all extensions of a Key Word.
Example: COSTUM* will bring up COSTUME, COSTUMES, COSTUMING
By FORMAT, LANGUAGE, LOCATION, DATE OF PUBLICATION
•In CONSORT you can go to the top tool bar to MODIFY SEARCH
•if you are only want INTERNET RESOURCES, click on that option in the COMPUTER FILE box
•look at other option boxes, to further refine your results by language or year of publication.
