SEARCH STRATEGY

NARROW YOUR TOPIC

Key Words

•Use AND between key words to narrow your topics

Example:  Searching just FOOD will bring up all entries that contain FOOD.

Searching FOOD and CULTURE will bring up only those entries on FOOD that deal with CULTURE.

If you search, FOOD and CULTURE and AMERICA the results will bring up only those entries that deal with all three variables--FOOD, CULTURE, and AMERICA.

•Also, you can use * to allow for all extensions of a Key Word.

Example: CULTUR* will bring up CULTURE, CULTURAL
