NARROW YOUR TOPIC

Key Words

•Use AND between key words to narrow your topics

Example: Searching just COMICS will bring up all entries that contain COMICS.

Searching COMICS and CONFLICT will bring up only those entries on COMICS that deal with CONFLICT.

If you search, COMICS and CONFLICT and WAR the results will bring up only those entries that deal with all three variables--COMICS, CONFLICT, WAR.

•Also, you can use * to allow for all extensions of a Key Word.

Example: MEMOR* will bring up MEMORIAL, MEMORIALS, MEMORY

By FORMAT, LANGUAGE, LOCATION, DATE OF PUBLICATION

•In CONSORT you can go to the top tool bar to MODIFY SEARCH

•if you are only want INTERNET RESOURCES, click on that option in the COMPUTER FILE box OR you can limit your search to WOO ONLINE in the LOCATION box

•look at other option boxes, to further refine your results by language or year of publication.
