It often is helpful to identify a few subject-specific databases to search for articles but the Libraries have some general databases that you can use to start your research. You can identify appropriate databases by using the Subject Guides available on the Libraries web site or by exploring the Databases by Title list also on the web site. One general database listed at the top of the Databases by Title page is Academic Search Complete. Other databases could include socINDEX, Sociological Collection, Bibliography of Asian Studies, International Political Science Abstracts, or PAIS among others.
