It often is helpful to identify a few subject-specific databases to search for articles but the Libraries have some general databases that you can use to start your research. You can identify appropriate databases by using the Subject Guides available on the Libraries web site or by exploring the Databases by Title list also on the web site. Subject-specific databases for this assignment might include International Political Science Abstracts (IPSA), CIAO (Columbia International Affairs Online) or PAIS International. One general database listed at the top of the Databases by Title page is Academic Search Complete. Once you are in an EBSCOhost database you can see if there are other relevant EBSCOhost databases by clicking the "Choose Databases" link above the search box.

After you search and find an item you can take a look at its full record to get additional information.

The record for this item provides us with the basic citation information, access to the full-text (or a link to Check for Full Text), and some possible subject terms that can be clicked on to further expand the research on this topic.
