The Federal Fam Board was established in 1929 as an independent agency to stabilize prices and to promote the sale of agricultural products. It was abolished in 1933 when its functions were transferred to the new Farm Credit Administration. Only the annual reports for 1931 and 1932 were published in the U. S. Congressional Serial Set.
