Contributions to North American Ethnology (I 17.5:)

The Geographical and Geological Survey of Rocky Mountain Region, under the direction of Major John Wesley Powell, existed from 1874 to 1879. Its mission expanded from simply a geological survey of Utah to include the ethnology of the region. This brief series, Contributions to North American Ethnology, was completed after 1879 under the direction of the Smithsonian's Bureau of Ethnology, but the series has been kept together under the I 17.5: call number.
