U.S. Congressional Serial Set Finding List: Annual Reports, U.S. Tariff Commission (TC 1.1:)

In 1916, Congress established the United States Tariff Commission to administer trade laws, to assess the impact of imports on U. S. industries, and to provide the legislative and executive branches of government with information on trade matters. Its duties have been reshaped over the years by such legislative acts as the Tariff Act of 1930 and the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. The name of the agency was changed in 1974 to the United States International Trade Commission, and in 1981 the SuDocs class number was changed to ITC 1. The annual reports began publication in 1917 and include information on reports and publications issued or revised during the year. (Andriot 727)
