U.S. Congressional Serial Set Finding List: Mineral Resources of the United States (T 28.6:, I 19.8:, C 22.8:)

The Mineral Resources series began as a set of annual reports with varying titles, all grouped under the more general title of Mineral Resources West of the Rocky Mountains, published by the Bureau of the Mint from 1867 through 1876. After 1876, no reports on mineral resources were issues until 1882, after the title had been transferred to the Geological Survey and changed to Mineral Resources of the United States. From 1894 to 1899, this title was published as part of the Annual Reports, Geological Survey (I 19.1:), but it resumed publication as a separate series in 1900. In 1925, when the Bureau of Mines was transferred from the Interior Department to the Commerce Department, Mineral Resources was taken from the USGS and published instead by the Mines Bureau under the C 22.8: call number. When the Mines Bureau returned to Interior in 1934, Minerals Resources evolved into what is today known as the Minerals Yearbook (I 28.37:).
